Moonlight spills through the cracked window of the old wooden cabin, casting cold blue shadows across the room where innocence once sought refuge.

But the girl in the red cloak is no longer seeking anything.
She has become the answer.

Leaning seductively against the doorframe, her glowing amber eyes and sharp wolf fangs betray the beast that now lives within her skin. The crimson cape—tattered and barely tied—clings to her voluptuous form like a lover’s desperate grasp, revealing black lace corsetry and skin that gleams with predatory allure. Long black claws trace the wood as she smiles, feral, dangerous, utterly in control.

This is grandmother’s house no longer.
The bed is empty.
The wolf is gone—or perhaps he never truly left.

In this Darkly Ever After, Red has devoured the story itself.
She waits in the cabin not as victim or visitor, but as the eternal hunger that lurks in every fairy tale’s shadow—beautiful, ravenous, and forever wild.

Come closer, little one.
She’s been expecting you.

Part of Darkly Ever After—where fairy tale heroines shed innocence for power, embrace the darkness within, and rule their stories with unapologetic desire.
